This Thursday we’ll be getting back to my series on how to market your law firm in 2017. This article is written as a quick follow up to my discussion on why there will be fewer law firms at the end of 2017 then there are today. Since I wrote on the topic two things have happened. First, the legal profession has continued to lose jobs; the “legal services sector” has lost roughly 4,000 jobs in the first few months of the year. Second, I was interviewed on JD Blogger regarding the state of legal profession and what is happening to the average attorney’s ability to earn a living. In the interview we addressed the fact that demand for legal services is quickly declining while the supply of attorneys is going up.
A big thanks to John Skiba for having me on over at JD Blogger. To listen to the interview, which discusses issues that will impact your law firm, click here.
